The Brief
How could they preserve not just the facts of her life, but her unique way of telling stories, her wisdom, her humour, and her voice? They wanted future generations to feel like they could actually ‘talk’ to her and learn about their heritage directly from the source.
Our Approach
Working closely with [Fictional Grandparent Name] and her family, we created a Forever Legacy Memoir Avatar. The process involved:
- Conducting recorded interviews covering various aspects of her life, memories, beliefs, and advice.
- Gathering family stories, photos, and anecdotes to enrich the knowledge base.
- Analyzing her speech patterns and (optionally, with consent and capability) using voice cloning technology to approximate her voice for the avatar’s responses.
- Structuring the information so the avatar could answer questions about her childhood, family history, career, hobbies, and life lessons in a conversational manner.
- Creating a secure, private portal for the family to access and interact with the avatar. Session recordings were made available only to the family to capture their interactions with the legacy.
